Winter Dance Lessons – Begin January 15! -
Sundays Jan. 15 – April 1 (Two 5 week sessions.)
No Lessons Feb. 5 or Feb. 19.

Schedule:5:30 intermediate lesson 6:30 mixer, 7:00 beginers

First 5 weeks: Intermediate dancers will again dance the American Tango 2. Beginners will be practicing the Swing. Second 5 weeks: Intermediates will West Coast Swing. Beginners will Fox Trot.

Payment Option: Members: 1 lesson/$9 OR 5 lesson package/$40
Nonmembers: 1 lesson/$12 OR 5 lessons package/$55.

Intermediate lessons have more challenging steps and proceed at a faster pace. Tango 2 is open only for dancers who took Tango 1 last fall or who have Tango experience.

You may come earlier and ski on your own since the ticket is good from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We’ll ski for an hour, take a break to socialize and then back out for skiing. RSVP to Jessie or Al so they look for you. Come join in the winter fun, socialize and get plenty of exercise!

Each February CWN holds a meeting with three main purposes. We will first go over the financial statement from 2011. Next will be the election of the 2012 CWN Board. Then there will be time for questions from the floor about any issues. This is a time for members to find out how the Organization is doing and make suggestions directly to the membership.

Join us for fresh air and exercise prior to the dine-out and dance party at Park Ridge Café (See dine-outs). Or just come and enjoy the walk, whatever suits your fancy. We’ll walk for at least an hour. Walkers of all levels welcome.

We have tried showshoeing in the Reserve but it was challenging due to the packed snow on the trails. You are welcome to bring showshoes along and give it a try!

We’ll work up an appetite while enjoying the company of fellow outdoor enthusiasts.
